X.3398 To PN.{Mr Northey} from EFC. EFC5/T31.12.20. X.3398 - PETO & RADFORD BATTERIES. X.2922 I have your note PN{Mr Northey}17/DN22.12.20 and will do as you suggest, namely, send No.14 P & R battery to you, but first I would like to know whether you require a special battery box making for this in addition to the case in which the battery is contained. It is, of course, possible to put the battery on the footboard without a box, but the thickness of the wood of the case is generally not large enough to properly secure the battery. There will be no special report that we should require but only a general report of the behaviour of the battery in service, including details of any faults that occur. X-2894 X-4213 Presumably your car is available at any time for the running of experimental parts which cannot be dealt with by the experimental cars we have here. I have, for instance, in mind at the moment such items as Tungsten contact points of which we have a considerable number to run. Wou would also probably like to have one of the dozen Bleriot cut-outs which, as the car already has a Lucas switchbox, would have to be connected to this box in a temporary manner so as to put this item in action in place of the Lucas cut-out contained in the box.
