X4050 DUNLOP RUBBER CO.,LTD. TELEGRAPHIC ADDRESS: "DUNLOPS, PHONE, BIRMINGHAM". TELEPHONE: BIRMINGHAM CENTRAL 4108 (P.B.E) EXTENSION No. 395. YOUR REF: OUR REF: HEP/LW.58. FORT DUNLOP ERDINGTON BIRMINGHAM Messrs. Rolls Royce Limited, DERBY. Attention of Mr. Robotham. 9th October, 1931. Dear Sirs, Mr. Mattinson has written us querying the fact that we have not indicated in our Service Manuals, sizes of tyres on the new International Standard rims, and it was explained that it was our intention to keep you advised of these, but that the sheet for the revision of the Manual was not yet ready. We have, however, pleasure in enclosing a further data sheet showing the approximate dimensions of the latest production tyres, on both the old standard and new International standard rims. The sizes of tyres are identical with those shown on the sheet sent to you under cover of letter HEP/LW.18 of the 2nd inst, and we should be glad if you would destroy that sheet to avoid confusion, as in some cases the figures on the first sheet referred to dimensions of tyres which were then under modification. Yours faithfully, for the DUNLOP RUBBER CO. LTD., Technical Representative, Car Manfrs. Section. | ||
