Watson Stabilators.

In reply to your verbal enquiry of yesterday, I find that an order for 4 Watson Stabilators was sent to RR.of A.Inc. on the 13th Sept. last, together with a letter requesting that they be despatched to us as soon as possible.

On the 13th ult. we received a letter from Springfield acknowledging receipt of the order and stating that they were taking the liberty of holding the order up for a few days until they had definitely determined the most suitable type of base for installation on our chassis. This they had done after discussing the matter with Mr.Olley. They added that they assumed that what we desire are Rear Axle Stabilators, as they had not so far been successful in obtaining the desired results using them on the Front Axle.

In reply I wrote on the 13th ult. that the 4 Stabil-ators are all required for the rear of our 40/50 HP. chassis, as we are satisfied with the R.R. Damper for the front of the chassis. We added that we hoped to receive advice of despatch by an early post. Up to date we have not received further news.
