c. Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} c. G/JWH. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}15/R.{Sir Henry Royce} 7th May, 1937. Mr. Lorringer, The Long Clutch Manufacturing Co., Dequindre, DETROIT. U.S.A. Dear Mr. Lorringer, I am now back in England, and should like to thank you for the extremely generous assistance you gave me on the P.III clutch. You will be pleased to hear that the latest information I have received from the driver of the car is that so far it has completed 3,500 miles and given complete satisfaction. The dozen sets of clutch linings which were going to be sent off do not appear to have arrived as yet, and I shall be glad if you will find out whether these were actually despatched. We have got the single clutch plates like the one which was fitted to the car, and we are expecting half-a-dozen more when they are completed. Yours sincerely, | ||
