A.{Mr Adams} Robotham, Esq., Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd. DERBY. Dear Mr. Robotham, Stromberg Carburetters Many thanks for your letter of the 17th instant regarding the Stromberg Carburetter situation. I fear that, since I have only just received your letter, it will be impossible for me to visit you this week. I will, however, arrange to pay you a visit one day early next week - possibly it would be advisable for me to telephone you the day before to ascertain whether you will be at the Works. With regard to the Duplex Carburetter question: we have, as you know, despatched to you two of these carburetters, one of 36 mm. and the other of 32 mm., being on the E.23 and the ME.3 respectively. Mr. Salt told me on my last visit that he required some bench tests being run on the DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}36 carburetter. I agree that this is very necessary, and possible we can arrange a day for it at our meeting. I shall be grateful if you will address your correspondence to the Firm and mark for my attention; otherwise, letters are apt to be delayed owing to my [Stamp] MOTOR EXHIBITION CARS & BOATS OCT. 17-26 OLYMPIA OUR STAND No 417 GALLERY | ||
