X4674 X3855, The nuts holding the oil base on the R.{Sir Henry Royce} engine show signs of coming slack. The studs should be lengthened and grover wahsers substituted for the thin washers under these nuts. This alteration should be made for all engines after the first one now being delivered. In connection with this point, I consider we should for all aero work, as convenient, substitute grover washers for all the thin spring washers and regard this as our standard. Rg.{Mr Rowledge} | ||
