We find that a considerable amount of engine noise is brought into the car through the clutch pedal. The stop for the pedal in the 'up' position is formed by a lug cast in the pedal plate. We have cured the trouble by fixing about 1/2" of rubber on to the stop, but of course this reduces the pedal travel. It seems to us a fairly simple matter to replace the cast lug by a rubber inset without altering the pedal travel. Will you please look into the matter. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Smth. | ||
