DY.{F R Danby} FROM EA. ORIGINAL. IA1/ 7.6.32. X5305 C. to EG. WOH. HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} B. 25HA. TORSIONALLY FLEXIBLE JOINT IN TRANSMISSION. Herewith we send N. sch. 3457. shewing the torsion-ally flexible joint inside the clutch, which is intended for trial as an alternative to M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} sch. 3442. Of the two suggestions shown, namely, using the existing driving pins and bolting a spider to it, or making a new solid spider, we prefer the latter, as the arms of the spider are better backed up.
