C.P. Previous quarter C.C. C.P. Six months GYG.25 (13.688 miles) suspension too free at high speeds. Dismantled & cleaned out the govenor unit, ground in main valve & filled unit with fresh oil, corrected the debit of the unit. 99.RY (5.064 kms) Dismantled the 4 hydraulio dampers. Fitted grooved pistons as per Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}262 set dampers to give 80 lbs. initial load. As we were unable to satisfy the owner by attending to the dampers we have had to remove the standard & high rating "5 plate stiffer type" springs and fit a set of normal type springs to overcome complaint of harshness.etc.. GHG.32 (12.393 kms) steering snatches. Increased to initial load of the front dampers in position to approx. 20 lbs. Please refer to full details given in last quarters lists. 99.RY (5.064 kms) corrected the tyre pressures and increased the load of the cross steering tube from 10 to 20 lbs.
