B.V. Servo.

Will you please fit the thrust washers herewith to the next 3 cars which come in for gearbox alterations.

These washers replace the bakelite washer and steel distance piece and fit between the alum of the box and the spring plate. It will be necessary to locate this ring from turning on the alum and we suggest two short 5BA studs let into the box and locating the ring in holes or slots on the outer edge.

A drain slot for the oil seal should also be cut in the bottom of the face on the box.

We wish to fit this scheme experimentally as we consider it simpler than those shown on GCD.1201.
