X8950 PN{Mr Northey}3/DN19.5.25. TO Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM PN{Mr Northey} c. to BJ EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} CWB Re 40/50 H.P. Open Trials "New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I". X8950 X8771 I do not feel at all satisfied with the high speed performance of this car. I can get up to 80 only if the road is definitely downwards. I cannot get up to more than 75 m.p.h. if the road is level. This is not a sufficient difference between the old and the new car to my mind. I feel that the engine is firing too late at these high speeds. If you can make any definite alteration in this respect, I would like to have your views. P.N. RECEIVED | ||
