STEERING. GPK.44. HEATHS TRIALS. With reference to EP {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} 8/H. 11.5.26. the Works are not in a position to supply the necessary parts to enable the new damping scheme to be fitted to the front axle pivot pin on the above chassis immediately. We are taking the matter up with BJ. to get his permission to order up material so that the modification can be applied to present production as soon as the parts are available, also for dealing with complaints from customers. In view of the foregoing, the Experimental Dept. have agreed to fit the damping scheme to the above chassis if arrangements can be made for the car to be returned to these Works. Will you please let us know when the car will be sent here so that we can inform the Experimental Dept. BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /C. | ||
