J Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} from EFC. c. ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} X4622 EFC3/T13.5.26. X.4622 - ELLIOTT AMMETER. We hand you herewith Elliott ammeter No.141001, which is one of four (Nos.140998-141001) which we recently received from Messrs. Elliotts for experimental test. The other three have behaved and are behaving satisfactorily on experimental cars. This one, however, after 2642 miles, has developed two defects :- and (1) Glass cracked through the zero correcter. (2) Sticking needle. Would you please have this ammeter returned to Messrs. Elliotts for correction and return. EFC. Ammeter herewith. | ||
