John Marston Ltd.,
Paul Street Works,
Wolverhampton.

For the attention of Mr. Dalrymple.

Dear Sirs,

We received yesterday (20th., inst.) one Phantom II Bottom Tank (which you received against Advice No.W C/F.4758) returned to us by goods train because of a damaged stud. We very much regret the delay caused by this especially as the damage was put right in less than five minutes and could have been done equally as well after the complete radiator had been returned to us. We were hoping to have received delivery of the completed radiator in accordance with you promise of 14 or 16 days.

We are returning the bottom tank to you today by passenger train; and are asking you to let us have the complete radiator as early as possible.

We are hoping to fit it to a car which is leaving for a long Continental road test immediately after the Xmas holidays.

In addition we shall be glad if you will urge delivery of the two Phantom II radiators which you have been making for us since Nov. 10th., these are urgently required for experimental test.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
