Attention: Mr. C. S. Steadman

Gentlemen:

Our apologies for not having furnished you with the addresses of the four companies to whom we sent your fan belt print.

You already have Goodyear and Goodrich. The Gates Rubber Company is in Denver, Colorado, and the Dayton Rubber Company maintains an export department at 38 Pearl Street, New York City.

We were rather amused at the attitude taken by the Dayton Rubber Company. They were apparently unwilling to risk about $2.00 worth of belts in the absence of your official order. They have written us several times about not having received it.

If there is anything we can do for you please command us. The writer was under the impression that Mr. Saunders had passed on the addresses referred to.

Yours very truly
