The Earl of Rothes,
The India Tyre & Rubber Co.Ltd.,
Mileage Dept., (Area 'B'),
80, Clapham Road,
LONDON, S.W.9.

Dear Rothes,

Our Paris Manager, Mr. Sleator, has been at the Works for the past few days. He is very enthusiastic about India tyres, he will have them on all the Bentley cars at the Salon. He is also fitting them to a number of Rolls-Royce cars in customers' hands.

At the present moment he says that he gets all his tyres from your Branch in Nantes. He asked me why the Paris branch of Rolls-Royce, i.e., Franco-Britannic Automobiles Ltd., could not handle India tyres for Paris. It appeared to him that if this can be done both the prestige of the tyres would be enhanced and the tyre distribution facilitated.

Perhaps you would write to Mr. Sleator on the subject, and at the same time let me know if anything is done.

Yours sincerely,
