To ________ 19 Order No. ________ Customer's No. ________ at the end of the 60 hours and the 28,000 odd operations was .277v. The condition of the points after test is fairly good. The contact line is slightly pitted and is bordered by a black edge, the sliding action however is maintained. During the steady running, considerable heating occurred at the pivot end of the armature although not enough to cause any damage. It appears as though the size of the flexibles here might be increased with advantage. Altogether the test indicates that our standard cutout properly adjusted is able to deal with the conditions obtaining with dynamos so far developed. The effect on the points of switching on an already running dynamo is more severe than cutting (Contd) Signed ________ This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
