Tail Lamp and Number Plate on New Bodies.

Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.8/MA23.3.34.

We have made careful enquiries into the question of the use of three lamps at the rear of bodies which are left burning when the cars are parked. We have traced that two Coachbuilders have been in the habit of using three lamps as you suggest, namely, Hoopers and T & M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore}

We have pointed out to them that this appears to be quite unnecessary, as we have had similar bodies with only one lamp used for the purpose of illuminating the rear number,etc, and they have now consented to do likewise. There should therefore be no repetition of this excessive use of lamps at the back.
