SEQUENCE STARTER 2B SCHEME. X765573

We are now proposing to remove the old No.1 scheme from chassis 9-EX and have this replaced with a 2B scheme. We have had a 2B scheme which we now call 2B1 scheme fully instructed to the Expl. Shop, and well on the way, it having been understood that this was in accordance with your impression of the position. Your new scheme to LeC.2496 we call the 2B2 scheme.

As we have a number of parts made, we are proposing to put the 2B1 scheme on chassis 9-EX and I think this course will meet with your approval. The motor in this case has the tapered armature to the taper we had suggested, having the bottom of the slots parallel with the top, not parallel to the axis as in your new LeC.2496 scheme. The motor generally is in accordance with the EAM&KW calculations which we sent to you.

This we propose to arrange with the 5° correctly cut helical teeth with sharp corners. There appears to be some amount of argument for EFC. trying 10° helical teeth. None however, are instructed.
