-2- (3) Brake Cam Actuating Shaft (20/25). .430 cam 2.25 B For 2000 lbs. at cam load at B. = 385 lbs. Deflection measured at B. = .075 which becomes .39 at brake pedal. Due to twisting of the actuating shaft deflection at B. = .013, which equals at brake pedal .068 (4) Improved Peregrine Brakes. R.R.Sch.292. With the new stiffened actuating shafts on Peregrine and 20/25 type adjustment of the rear brakes, the sponginess should be identical with that of the 20/25. The clearance of the G.W.H. shoe has been reduced to .007 - .008 To give .015 clearance at the shoe centre, the recommended clearances are :- Front .312 at end of 3.5 lever. Rear .650 at end of 5.750 lever. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} | ||
