COPY ------------ GRAND HOTEL VITTEL (Vosges) 31/8/38 Dear Mr. Allen, A thing that seems to have been overlooked is the fact that the fitting of the new oil pump of course makes the gauges at present fitted useless. At about 2.500 revs, the needle is up as far as it can go. I am afraid you will have to modify the setting of the gauges whenever you fit the new pump.
