Re PETROL CONSUMPTION ON 20/25 h.p. CARS.
-------------------------

I enclose herewith copy of report we have received from Cricklewood concerning the petrol consumption on 20/25 h.p. cars with the new carburettor, and shall be glad if you will please let us have your advice upon the particular car to which he refers, namely GWE-43 for the time being, and your comments generally upon the petrol consumption.

We have turned up your memo. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}6/KW30.5.34 wherein you advised us that after pretty conclusive tests the petrol consumption on the two carburettors had proved to be practically identical, whereas Cricklewood have apparently had to deal with two or three complaints of lesser petrol consumption on new cars than customers have received on their old cars.
