Hanbury - Head Complaints} 14.12.43. in finalising the Silver Ripple chassis, the faults which have been experienced on the Senior Range during running which has been done over the past 4 years, will have to be cured. In addition, the steering column controls and the jacking system were never finalised and these will require attention. The faults were enumerated on Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} 9/OH. 29.9.43. As discussed this morning, we may have to show Ward how to put a 3 B 50. body on an 11' 1" wheelbase, which will save us making an odd frame length. The petrol tanks are in the process of being rationalised. I have decided that the Bentley requires an 18-gallon tank, and that 16 gallons fitted to the pre-war machines is inadequate.
