EXPERIMENTAL REPORT. COPIES TO: (RCJ) (BJ) WOR{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} By E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} (RG{Mr Rowledge}) PNJOY Expl. No. 8685 OBJECT OF TEST. Investigations on oil relay governor. TESTER. W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham. CONDITIONS. Road test and bench test. SUMMARY OF TEST. The only troubles we have experienced with the oil relay on the road during 10,000 miles tests have been failures of the cup leather. The leathers which have failed we found to be .100" shorter than the scheme calls for. We have sent out a correct cup leather to the car in France. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
