BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} c. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X1160 WYMAN 25-29 HP. Engine Noise Insulation. We send you herewith:- LeC.4805 (sheets 1 and 2) showing the noise insulation covers for the crankcase and cylinder block and head. LeC.4845 showing the rocker cover with combined air silencer, breather, and felt noise coverings. The latter job is a new feature and quite experimental. In regard to the crankcase and cylinder block covers, these follow the same lines as those which were tried on the Bentley engine. E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner} Before this scheme is made we ought to get By to modify it in detailing so that it will work. Mr Staly realises there are several mods required. Noted Cm Gm | ||
