X3693 EWT. for R.R.Inc. From Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/LGC.12.21. BINTLIFF & LAING ELECTRICAL PRIMER OUTFIT. CY1/G17.10.21. This primer works similar to the R.R. Primer inasmuch as a spray is pumped into the induction pipe. The spray in this case passes through a fine coil tube which is heated by an electrical current; the tube itself acting as a resistance. We find that this works very well as a Primer. It did not last very long, however, due to the fact that we used it in connection with our standard 12-volt system - the Primer which was sent was made for 6-volts, so we destroyed the heated tube. As a Primer it had all the usual faults - difficulty of keeping the engine running once it had been started up. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
