X.3723 - BERLING MAGNETOS.

Amongst the magnetos received from U.S.A. for test were three of Berling make, types D.63, F.61 and E.6. These magnetos had not been put through our routine bench tests at the time of receiving Mr. Royce's note R2/G24.3. and in view of that note it is not proposed to carry out such tests of these machines, but we are considering arranging to return these if possible.

I have, however, asked my assistant to note down certain of the points of interest of these magnetos and now attach copy of his report.
