Great King Street,
Birmingham, 19.

For the attention of Mr.R.N.Neill.

Dear Sir,

Referring to the new experimental sports type P.100 headlamp which you anticipate introducing next year we should be glad if, when your designs are approaching finality, you will kindly send us a blue print of the lamp. This will enable us to look into the question of fitting the lamp to our chassis and to offer any helpful criticism on the same etc.

We confirm that you will be sending to us for test on an experimental Bentley chassis, one P.100 headlamp with lightened features and that you will put a similar lamp on your shaking rig for test.

Whilst on the question of shaking rigs we should like to know if Dr.Turner has tested the Lucas H.F. horn on a similar shaking rig as we have received a complaint through our Managing Director that a Bentley owner's Lucas horn has disintegrated whilst he was using the car in France presumably at high average speeds.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
