Gudgeon Pin Knocks - 25/30 HP. Chassis. Whilst we do not object to the oil hole in the connecting rod being blocked up on the 25/30 HP. chassis for the time being, in view of the trouble of gudgeon pin knocks, and suggest that you carry on with this forthwith, we are somewhat mystified as to why you do not run into the same trouble with the Aerolite Piston. As we ourselves have not experienced gudgeon pin knocks on the 25/30 - possibly owing to the fact that it does not happen on all cars - it is difficult for us to investigate this, and we shall be glad of any information you can give us on the subject.
