B.80 ENGINE IN WRAITH 80. CHASSIS - BOTTOM WATER CONNECTIONS AND WATER DRAIN TAP.

Please receive herewith :-

E.CD.1091 Bottom Water Pipe and Drain Tap. Wraith.

It will be noticed that the water pump casing inlet snout is modified, and also the outlet connection from the radiator bottom tank is new.

We have also altered the shape of the radiator bottom tank to enable us to fit the water drain tap in the tank, as there is no suitable position for it on the engine or water pipe.

Will Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. please note these modifications to the radiator, so that he can make arrangements with the radiator makers.

An olive type of joint is required on the drain pipe to enable the pipe to be fitted after the tap has been correctly assembled in radiator bottom tank.

All the modifications called for on this design will also apply to the C.I. Conventional 8 engine when fitted in the Wraith 80 chassis.

Will you therefore please detail and instruct experimentally for both the B.80 and the C.I. Conventional 8 engines.
