1110. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}15/R.20.11.36. CLUTCHES. Replying to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/KW.20.11.36., we have actually taken up the question of slack clutch links with the works on a number of occasions. In particular, I think they are fully aware of results of slack on the 20/25 and the Bentley. On the P.III we found they were not making a sufficiently good job, and so, more than two months ago, pointed out the necessity of improving the workmanship at this point, as per Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Smth.12/KW.11.9.36. - copy attached.
