Test with standard R.R.C.H. Falcon Carburetter on Hawk engine

R.P.M. Pints per hour H.P. Pints per H.P. hour
2000 48 137 .57
1800 75 125 .60
1600 68 112 .61
1400 62 97 .64
1200 55 84 .65
1000 44 68 .65

The high Pints per H.P. hour, can be traced to the very bad distribution: this was probably caused by the air inlet to the carburetter facing along the engine.
