Continental B.V. Frame.

On the Continental B.V. frame which is to Ass.FB.3658 a new scheme for the petrol tank and spare wheel mounting is being prepared. This necessitates doing away with the 2nd. cross member FB.3905 and replacing it by another to a new scheme.

Will you please see that the old cross member FB.3905 is not included in the parts sent from this works to John Thompsons.

It is suggested that if the new scheme is not ready in time to enable the new cross member to be despatched to John Thompsons the frame should not be held up, but that we should fit the part in question in the shop.

Further, since the spare wheel mounting on this chassis is going to be at the rear, as part of the body no spare wheel carrier should be instructed for this car.
