(10) We want to use R.R. white metal bearings on the mains of the new Wraith, also Crankshaft of Hykro with the latest drilling.

New connecting rods should really be designed round the R.R. bearing metal so that piston does not hit cyl. head when bearing runs.

(11) Matthews. We want a Lab. analysis and brinnel figure of a typical cylinder block of ours as at present going through production, also cylinder head. The same thing with the sample Buick block. We should also discuss the analysis Buicks recommend with the Midland cylinder people. What was the block on 6.B.IV. that has just completed 15,000 miles ?

(12) Dixon. What type of mechanical A.C. pump has been designed on to the Wraith ? Does the petrol bowl stick through the undershield ? Is the latest vacuum pump for operating the wind screen wiper allowed for ?

25/30.

(1) When shall we get the new slow running tried out on the 25/30, i.e., the scheme of mixture control instead of air control ?

(2) How does this scheme differ from that fitted to the P.III carb ?

(3) Where are the Nelson Bohn pistons ? Why cannot we get rid of the distortion alleged to be produced by the cylinder studs by adding "meat" to the block.
