Dear Sirs,

NOISE MEASURING INSTRUMENTS.

Referring to your recent conversation with our Mr. Mattinson, we have pleasure in enclosing two photographs illustrating noise meters recently introduced by us for carrying out measurements on various machines. The instrument illustrated in photograph Ms. 355.43 has been specially designed for measuring the peak noise values of internal combustion engines, and is therefore very suitable for automobile and aircraft use. The instrument covers the high range of 50 - 115 phons and incorporates a directly calibrated instrument giving an instantaneous reading of noise level. The instrument including all accessories is priced at ... ... ... £ 97. 10. 0.
