| Radcliffe. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Can you see Hol & tell me about this Chassis Please Jm{Mr Morley} 201 B/W. Hiv. re- MR. E.R.HALL. While in my Office yesterday he was saying that he had a chassis*at the Works which was his property, and which had never been used. He states that it was originally built with certain special features for him to take over to Le Mans but that by arrangement with you, as the chassis was never put on the road and has never had a body fitted to it yet, these special parts were taken off and the chassis was restored to an absolutely standard specification. He says the chassis was built last year. Mr.Hall is anxious to dispose of it, and asked what I could do about it. I thought perhaps you could let me have some information as to the real position and also say to which series of Bentley chassis this particular one conforms as it now is, and whether it is a fact that the chassis has never been used and could be sold as brand new. If you will kindly let me have any information of this nature which is available, I shall then be able to take the matter up further at this end. * 4 1/4 Litre Cx.{Major Len W.
