DERBY.

Dear Robotham,

I have just received a letter from Mr. Falconer of Park, Ward's informing me that Mr. Thompson's chassis B.10.DG arrived at Willesden yesterday, February 1st.

He goes on to say that if Mr. Thompson would care to call in about a week (i.e. February 8th or 9th) the body would be mounted on the chassis; and he might be able to try the seating position by trying another similar car, but his own car would not be far enough forward for him to try the seating in it, or the colour. If on the other hand he cares to call in two weeks (i.e. February 14th; 15th; or 16th) he would be able to try his own seating, etc. And, further, Mr. Falconer anticipates that in the ordinary course of events that in approximately three weeks the car would be approaching completion.

I would suggest that if it were convenient to Mr. Thompson it would be much the best for him to wait until he could try the seating, etc. in his own car, and, therefore, he should postpone his visit to Park, Ward's until, say, February 14th or 15th. If you would be so kind as to let me know in advance what would suit him, I will make a point of keeping the day free in order to take him up to Willesden in my own car at any time most convenient to him; and should be delighted to do anything I could to help him in the matter. As soon as I hear from you what day would suit him, I will advise Park, Ward's; and do everything possible to see that work on the car is pressed forward.
the

Yours sincerely,

Rothes-
