Letter from C.W. Nichols to W.A. Robotham regarding a fault with the dynamo not cutting in on a cold start.

Identifier  ExFiles\Box 89\4\  scan0229
Date  11th January 1938

The strange feature is that whenever I start out with a cold motor the dynamo does not cut in (the red light showing on the dash) for the first two or three miles. The dynamo never gives its full output. I had a similar experience over a period with the 3½ litre.

With apologies for bothering you,

Sincerely yours,

(signed ) C.W.Nichols.

W.A.Robotham, Esq.
11th. January 1938.
