Dear Sirs,

Answering your letter ref.1622/P. of the 26th inst. we regret to have to inform you of not being able to give any place to tests of the brushes referred to on account of pressure of experimental test work of more immediate importance to our products, combined with the fact that there is practically no complaint in connection with the standard brushes which are being used on the same machine for which these special brushes were submitted as experimental.

When still further fundamental is uncalled for we may then be in a position to make a trial of these brushes, but in any case we feel we can hold out little hope of standardisation, in view of the demand that exists for making our chassis as nearly as possible all British.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
