AUTOMATIC ADVANCE CURVES.

We want to date to have four sheets of automatic
advance curves, respectively labelled :-

(A) (B1) (B2) (C)

Group A.{Mr Adams} will be with reference to the battery ignition
on 20 HP. chassis only, and contain

(1) The nearest curve to (1) obtained by
calculation.

(2) The actual average representative curve
of the automatic advance obtained on test.

(3) Two dotted curves representing the limits
given on the production test of this unit.
This set of curves is already in existence
but needs labellingand scales making
uniform with those of other curves.

Group B1. This is with referance to the earlier Scintilla
magnetos and will contain

(1) The actual average representative curve
of the automatic advance (of the R.R.
Battery Ignition Governor) obtained on
test.

(2) Advance curve of the two earlier AM-6-A
type Scintilla magnetos (dotted).

(3) Advance curve of the early AG-6 Scintilla
magneto. (full).

Group B2. is with reference to the later Scintilla magnetos,
and contains:-

(1) The actual average representative curve
of the automatic advance (of the R.R.
Battery Ignition Governor) obtained
on test.

(2) Advance curves of the two later AM-6-A
magnetos (full.)

(3) Advance curves of the later AG-6-A Scintilla
magneto (dotted).
