-2- I find all these statements are very hard to reconcile, but since it seems to me that a harder iron or steel will score less than a soft one, we are quite willing to try, steel liners of higher Brinell. I enclose some curves showing how M.R. behaves on our cars. I am sending them for your information alone and expect no comment.
