To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} From Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} (Struck through) C. to Dr. Sd. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} (Struck through) 2000 (Handwritten) 404 (Handwritten) RE: BENTLEY 111. CHASSIS 1-B-5. We called at Messrs. Park Ward's on Wednesday last, re the above body, and found work progressing at a good pace. Some delay due to alterations has resulted from our recent request to make the body adaptable to both the original and new frame, but all of our requests have been shewn on the full size drawing, and the parts modified. From the attached memo you will see that we are equipping this body with ducts for a screen defroster, whilst a car radio will be provided. Will you please order up for us a "Motorola" wireless set, and let me have the controls for despatch to Messrs. Park Wards. We shall also need an arrangement print of the back of the dash, shewing the heater and wireless, and instructions to the Experimental Shop to fit these items to 1-B-5 chassis.
