Re 4-B-4.

With further reference to my memo. C14/C3.3.36, I understand from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} that in order to save time it was agreed that we should give up. a new 3 1/2-litre Bentley and we would mount on this the experimental body with the Silentbloc construction referred to in my memo. above.

This seems a suitable all-round arrangement and we are proceeding accordingly.

It therefore means that you will simply have 4-B-4 chassis and body repaired for Sales to re-sell as a secondhand car.

The arrangement about the body, namely that you should send it to Park Wards as soon as you can, still stands and on receipt of this we can decide whether we will repair it or scrap it.
