Re. ACCIDENT.

We have thoroughly examined the car we have received, i.e. the front O.S. wing slightly dented and the top plate of the O.S. front spring slightly buckled at the rear. We have dismantled the road spring and straightened the top leaf, this did not present any difficulty. Examination under a magnifying glass does not reveal any sign of cracks in the top plate. The aluminium guard covering the shackle pin at the rear end of the front spring has broken. The oil drain from the O.S. rear drum is also missing, but we are not sure whether this was knocked away by stones or with the accident, as we have had this happen previously. There is no further damage to the car.
