WES/PW. of the 19th inst. We find that the outer diameter of the pressure plate of the 11" Borg & Beck clutch is just 11" and the various discs used are from 10 5/8" to 11". We suggest that the outer dia. should not exceed 11", because, if wear takes place a shoulder would be left extending over the pressure plate, although such a small amount as 3/32 over 11 might not be of any importance, at all events for experimental purposes.
