S/W. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X2679 CWB10/GM/21.12.27. TYRE NOISES. With reference to your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}5/LG9.12.27 and our further conversation on this matter at W., if you have now gained sufficient knowledge of the behaviour of Goodrich tyres we would like you to approach the Dunlop Company with a view to demonstrating to them the important improvement in silence, which appears to be gained by the use of British Goodrich Tyres as compared with the standard Dunlop Tyres. We should be glad if you will advise us that you feel able to do this and also to learn subsequently whether Messrs. Dunlops have any proposals to make as regards their own products. CWB.
