Handwritten: Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Cambridge Thermometer v poor in Comparison to USA Foxborough. Ref again fitting Thermometer to 40/50. By R.S.OR to L 'peranuald', since the shutter (in front) operated directly by thermometer are a long way away. Chances now better with a good Typed (text is a mirror image and has been reversed): his thoughts then that we had a bad Thermometer. we felt it will be a long time before we get this through so that we shall have to take up the question stage of fitting a thermometer, if at the same time we could tell him that we were able to get a more reliable instrument, I think we could more easily get him to agree. all. | ||
