IMPORTANT.—We cannot accept responsibility for shortage on deliveries or for damaged goods unless the following conditions are observed :—Goods to be signed for as UNEXAMINED if such is the case. If in any way damaged the Carriers and ourselves to be notified immediately. No claim will be entertained by the Carriers unless it is made within 3 days if conveyed by Goods Train, or 24 hours by Passenger Train. Notification must be given to Carriers and ourselves if these goods are not delivered or tendered within 10 days from date of this Advice.
Parts returned or sent to us for repair must be Carriage Paid and DULY ADVISED. EMPTIES and packages to be credited MUST BE RETURNED CARRIAGE PAID AND IN GOOD CONDITION within seven days of Invoice date
