Gentlemen,

For attention of W.A. Robotham Esq.
re: 14 m {Mr Moon / Mr Moore} /m diameter car plugs.

We beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 18th august addressed for the attention of Major Carington, who is at present away on holiday.

We are very glad to learn that the 14 m {Mr Moon / Mr Moore} /m "K.L.G." type LKS6 plug has given very satisfactory service while you have had it on test on the road. We note that you would prefer the plugs to have the reach increased by 1/10", but regret to say it is not possible to do this without detriment to the design. We could, of course, make up a special type of plug with this additional reach, but we hesitate to do so until we hear from you that it is imperative for any such alteration would naturally mean an increase in cost and a departure from standard type.

Perhaps you will be kind enough to let us have further information on this point.

In the meantime we are making up the plugs to your esteemed order No.34470 with the standard reach.

Yours faithfully,
p.p. K.L.G. SPARKING PLUGS LIMITED.
(L.S.M.Braund)
Director.
