Dear Tan.,

Many thanks for your letter of the 18th January, together with drawings of connecting rods and pistons. We shall be very interested in hearing of the costs, and from our point of view will examine the design and let you know whether we can suggest any modifications, in due course.

We should consider putting a test through of both the pistons and rods as one unit.

I do not think you can usefully come up here until we have got some cost figures on the job.

I am glad Park Wards are letting you have a body frame.
